The kick-off meeting on 30.01 and 31.01.2024 in Graz marked the start of the 4.9 million EU project EFFEREST Project. As project coordinator, Virtual Vehicle welcomed 10 partner organizations from all over Europe to the Hotel Weitzer.
The EFFEREST project, funded by the EU, represents a significant step forward in the journey for greener transportation solutions. Its primary focus is advancing the development of efficient user-centric energy management systems for optimized Electric Vehicles (EVs). Together with its partners, EFFEREST targets a decisive progress in the novel use of data to achieve energy-efficient electric vehicle (EV) designs, matching enhanced user acceptance with efficient vehicle operation.
The bond within the consortium and the cooperation was strengthened by presentations of all the participants, in which the most important goals, technological progress and planned next steps were presented.
In the next 3 years ahead, the EFFEREST project will continue to push the boundaries of innovation, paving the way for a future where energy-efficient electric vehicles play a central role in shaping a more sustainable world.
